I’ve now slept on my Endy mattress for 100 nights, so it’s time to tell you folks what I think. And I’ll cut right to the chase: this mattress is awesome.
I’ve been a crappy sleeper my entire life, and for the very first time I can say:
I’m falling asleep more quickly
I’m staying asleep
I’m waking up without sore spots -- can I get an amen from my fellow side-sleepers?
5 reasons to love ENDY
I completely understand why Endy has quickly become one of Canada’s leading online mattresses. Here are 5 reasons why I love my Endy mattress -- and why I think you'll love it too:
Proudly made in Canada 🇨🇦
Stays cooler than my previous foam mattress
Feels comfy and supportive, not squishy
It’s affordable: my queen size retails for $850
100-night trial with free shipping and free returns
My previous foam mattress didn’t have much airflow, so I’d frequently wake up to kick off my sheets because I was too hot. And I don’t know if this is a technical term, but my old one felt like it had too much sink: when I’d sit or lay down, I’d keep sinking deeper into the squishy foam. I’d often wake up with a sore neck, I think because I was sinking too deep into my old mattress vis-a-vis my pillow. There was some motion transfer too, so if I was having a restless night hubby knew about it (sorry sweetie).
But Endy’s team is frigging meticulous and designed the perfect mattress to right all those wrongs. My Endy is phenomenally comfortable, stays cool, and if hubby or I shift in the night we don’t wake each other up.
When I first unrolled the mattress I thought it felt a bit soft, but within a week it decompressed and reached its full firmness. Instead of feeling like I’m sinking, I feel supported. And I especially appreciate that after a tough powerlifting workout when all my muscles ache: it feels like my Endy mattress is giving me a firm bear hug.
BUT... I CAN’T TRY IT IN A STORE?!
Sort of. Endy only sells online, but you can try it at one of their showrooms (more on that in a sec). I’ve been a downtown-dweller for 18 years, mostly without a car, and Ottawa is notorious for putting big box stores waaaaaaay out in the suburbs. Back in the day in took me over an hour on the bus to schlep all the way out to shop for a mattress. Not how you want to spend a precious Saturday.
Once I finally got to the store, I looked at all the mattresses and awkwardly flopped on one or two while the salesperson stood over me. How are you supposed to decide after just a quick flop?! They were all so expensive that I picked the cheapest one and left. Delivery took 4 or 5 weeks, was hella expensive (an extra $100!), and I ended up hating that dang mattress cuz it caved in the middle.
Personally I was ecstatic that I could order a fantastic mattress online without wasting most of a day. But if you’re still nervous about ordering online, Endy has partnered with select Canadian retailers so you can try the mattress in-store before you order. In Ottawa, you can visit Urban Barn at Trainyards or in Barrhaven.
ONLINE IS WHERE IT’S AT
Endy has completely changed the game, and I’m so glad they did. By going online they’ve made all their pricing transparent so you can comparison shop. I mean, it’s 2018 and several traditional mattress companies are STILL hiding prices on their websites!
Shipping is free and fast, I received my mattress within about 3 days of placing my order. 3 days! For free! Not 4-5 weeks for and extra $100!
I found Endy’s site easy to navigate, and I had no problem finding info on prices, their manufacturing process, and even returns.
SO… WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE IT?
I get it: at first, buying a mattress online sounds like a risk. But Endy is the highest reviewed mattress in Canada with lowest returns, and here’s why: they offer a 100-night trial period. You can try your mattress risk-free in your own home and decide if it’s right for you. After you actually sleep on it. Doesn’t that just make so much sense?
Personally I think you’re gonna love your Endy, but if it isn’t right for you just send them an email and they’ll help you out. Your returned mattress won’t go to waste either, because Endy works with local charities to donate the mattress to someone in need. I honestly love this company so dang much.
If you order an Endy or already have one, leave me a comment and share your thoughts!
Staying in is the new going out, so treat yourself to a better night’s sleep.🌛
