I first tried The Dailey Method early in the new year and I've been a fan ever since. I was both challenged and intrigued by their barre fitness classes that combined elements of pilates, yoga, and ballet training plus tiny, repetitive movements to work (um, exhaust) each muscle group.
But this bunch is so damn cheery you won't even hate them for making you work so hard.
It took me a few classes to get comfortable with the lingo (I'd never heard of back dancing or a high-C curve), but after two or three visits to their beautiful Glebe studio, I felt much more confident and could follow along easily. This place is obsessed with proper form and posture, and their hands-on adjustments helped me execute each pose properly so I always got the most out of every class.
I was thrilled when the TDM folks invited me to be a brand ambassador for their 30-day Challenge, which kicks off on Wednesday June 1. For the entire month of June, they're challenging several of us bloggers as well as all of you to set a fitness goal and commit to it for 30 days.
That doesn't mean you have to make it to the studio every single day (they ain't crazy), but they suggest visiting 3 times per week to build a new habit that's realistic: you'll get results and be able to stick with it long-term.
