It's no secret I'm a big fan of The Body Shop. I've been buying their cruelty-free products for three decades (can I get an amen for Dewberry?!) and I admire how they've stuck to their principles even as they've grown into an international mega brand.
Remember these tees and posters from the early nineties?
I'm particularly fond of The Body Shop's location at CF Rideau Centre because it's staffed by a passionate team of awesome people. Shop manager Lindsay and her crew are a community-spirited bunch, and we've collaborated repeatedly to support local causes close to our hearts (i.e., cats).
So we thought we'd team up again!
Next week The Body Shop Rideau will leave its longtime home on the third floor (where it's been since I moved to Ottawa in 2000), and will move to the second floor right across from Magpie Jewellery and Second Cup. The new concept store is gorgeous and you're invited to the grand opening party!
