Think I can safely say plenty of us are ready to close the book on 2016 and launch ourselves into 2017. Which means I've got a New Year's Eve giveaway for ya! One of my fave places to ring in the new year? Two Six {Ate} in Little Italy. And I'm giving away a pair of tickets to their NYE bash!
Two Six {Ate} is one of my top spots in Ottawa, run by the truly badass Emily Ienzi (front of house) and Steve (aka Stick) Harris (chef). They're smack in the middle of Little Italy at 268 Preston and you'll be hard pressed to find better cocktails or elevated comfort food anywhere in our fair city. Their confit chicken poutine makes my heart sing.
But back to New Year's Eve. Real talk: NYE is often overhyped, overpriced, and a total hassle. Don't you find? Emily and Steve think so too so they put together A Festivus for the Rest of Us!, their low-key take on New Year's with canapés and cocktails galore.

$51 for unlimited canapés and a glass of prosecco to start the night off right

7:00pm is when the fun starts, and they'll be serving liquor til 3:00am

tuna poke skewers with black sesame and sea asparagus

house smoked salmon with caviar and house cream cheese on a mini bagel
