holiday tea time (giveaway)

November 26, 2016

During this busy season there are few things I enjoy more than curling up on the couch with a blanket, a cat, and a cup of tea. So cozy and comforting! I recently discovered a Canadian company importing beautifully crafted teas, so today I'm introducing you to them. Meet Premium Teas!

Premium Teas is a Canadian online shop specializing in Harney & Sons Teas. The folks at Premium Teas had been enjoying Harney & Sons for years, but were frustrated that it was so hard to find in Canada. We've all been there, eh?

So they did all the legwork, began importing Harney & Sons into Canada, and launched their online shop at premiumteas.ca. They kindly sent me a few varieties to try and they were absolutely exquisite, so I'm very excited to share them with you today. Let's get started!

holiday tea, $12.99

Spiced with citrus, almond, clove and cinnamon, Harney & Sons Holiday Tea tastes like Christmas. Try adding a splash of egg nog– instead of milk! Perfect for cozying up by the fire. The pretty red tin contains 20 sachets, and each sachet brews a 12 oz cup of tea. This one's a black tea so it's caffeinated.

white christmas tea, $14.99

If you're dreaming of a white Christmas (and I think you're in luck this year), Harney & Sons White Christmas Tea is the one to reach for. Picture yourself by a glowing fire as the snow falls and the lights on the tree twinkle. I adored this creamy, nutty blend of almonds, vanilla, and cardamom with white chamomile flowers. Tin of 20 sachets and each brews a 12 oz cup of tea. Caffeinated.

green tea with coconut, $11.99

If you're not in the Christmassy camp and are wishing winter away, Harney & Sons Green Tea with Coconut is a must-have. This blend of green tea, lemongrass, vanilla, coconut and ginger will transport you to tropical Thailand and you'll forget all about the snow. Perfect with almond milk! Tin of 20 sachets and each brews a 12 oz cup of tea. Caffeinated.

I invited over some friends who lived in England for 10 years (and have tasted their fair share of teas) and we whipped up an afternoon tea service at home. So easy to do and positively delicious!
