Exactly a year ago today I hit the big old "ON" button on a little slice of the internet called amyin613.com. That's right, today's my first blog-a-versary! And my gosh, what a year it's been.
In the lead up to my launch last fall, I received countless notes of support and encouragement from local businesses, brands, and social media followers. I truly felt this community was behind me and I was excited to see what lay ahead.
But at the same time, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect.
Would people read my posts? Would they find them interesting? Helpful? Informative? Would they come back every week to see what was new? I hoped so but I had no idea.
My very first local feature was an interview with entrepreneur Billy Altidor, of local start-up Over the Top Lifestyle. Remember that? Billy's the guy who made the OTT hat I wear everywhere. Boy do I love that hat.
One year and 70,000 hits later, I'm moved and humbled that you've joined me on this little ride.
So thank you.
