un p'tit séjour à montréal

What a spectacular long weekend that was!! Hubby and I were in Montréal for his step-sister's wedding, and our 4 days at the Fairmont Le Reine Elizabeth flew by. We were greeted with homemade Oreos, blessed with incredible weather, and spent most days walking all town.

We had several wedding-related family dinner parties during our visit: one at the lovely La Colombe in the Plateau, one at Tao in Monkland Village (best General Tso chicken I've had anywhere), then the wedding at The Tavern on the Square in Westmount, and a post-wedding brunch at Hôtel le Square Phillips. It was a great excuse to load up on outfits!

Here's my night 1 outfit, a Cynthia Rowley jumpsuit I rented from Rent Frock Repeat. Try it for yourself and get 25% off with code AMY25!

My night 2 outfit was a steal from Forever 21, which I paired with a black Kate Spade bow bag and pointy-toed lace-up flats. I forgot to take a picture though! Here's the dress but unfortunately she's now sold out:

The wedding was a beautiful, relaxed affair at Westmount's Tavern On The Square, and it was wonderful to have the chance to celebrate with everyone. I wore a dress by Canadian designer Narcès, from Rent frock Repeat (use code AMY25 for 25% off).

It had enough support that I didn't need a bra, and it had pockets roomy enough for my phone and my beloved Stila liquid lippy. We took pictures in Westmount Square and total strangers came up to ask me where I got my frock. Ladies, you've gotta rent this one!

Here are a few pics from the weekend, all shot by Ottawa-based Tia Photography. I love the soft and romantic feel of all these shots, and the bride and groom's cheese cake (literally!!) was exquisite. Daphnée and Victor, congratulations! <3

How did you spend your long weekend?
